I agree with OP, Sleeping dogs was the first game I achieved 100%
United Front Games), I think it was because of that online version of sleeping dogs (Triad Wars) that failed. It's a shame that instead of doing it online, they didn't do Sleeping Dogs 2...
Of the 10% of the 10% , it will probably be ignored if it's not a cash-cow (BG3)
This would have been a great game for an expansion or MMO treatment, but it ain't never ever gonna happen. Enjoy the game, II's equal parts fabulous and frustrating, and THREE FRAKKIN DOLLARS
This is the "Steal Deal" of the week.
But the MMO was flimsy... you didn't actually play realtime with other players on the same map. The whole premise was you'd pick a predetermined spot to setup your HQ. You could then eventually add rackets to start making money. Whenever you logged in, one of those other HQ spots would randomly load another players which then you could raid . When you raided another players HQ, you could disrupt whatever rackets they had going and even takedown their player character (i think you could only raid 5 other players until having to waiting out a cooldown). Then when you logged in again, you'd just get an update on how many times someone else tried to raid you and gain/lose face accordingly. There was also cards you'd win by doing missions that would give you various buffs for raiding, or defending (again, since you never interacted with other players realtime). Those cards could also be purchased with gold bars.... also purchasable with real money. On paper... sounds kinda cool... but it was a mess and definitely not what the fans where looking for.
