Found 50,000 HK just lying around

So I literally just started the game, to the point it lets you free roam for the first time, I got to the nightmarket, the northern entrance and jump up a story or two because that was the path, turned left to to go back down but I ran into a door, didn't see what it was but I just got 50,000 HK, first five minutes

was it in a red envelope? if so, that's part of an included DLC.

It's called ang pao lol. It surprised me too when i play definitive version.

It's the red envelope DLC. In the normal version that dlc just placed red envelopes in front of every garage in the game, serving as a cheap money cheat. In the definitive version however they've hidden them across the map instead.
