How to defeat jiang shi?

I've started playing the DLC today and the first few missions went fine. I could kill jiang shi after I stunned them or by using environmental attacks. However now im at the first yaoguai fight and I cant seem to beat the jiang shi that surround him. I can beat the yaoguai after filling my face meter but the jiang shi dont seem to get stunned by any of my attacks. And as there are no environmental attacks nearby for me to use I simply cant get past this mission.

Any ideas how to fix this or am I doing something wrong?

First kill the boss, because if you won't, they will just keep respawning. You have to grab them, to finish them off.

I've killed the boss first every time since they like you said respawn cause you need face to defeat the boss. I can't stun them so grabbing them only allows me to punch them like regular enemies and they fall down afterwards. However they just get back up again like nothing has happened. I just cant seem to stun them. Without the stun grabbing them doesn't work to kill them.

its possible to kill it quite a bit more easy by knocking em down, then sneak behind them, and when the jiangshi trying to get up, press grapple key (F) to kill them
it works around 80% percentage, but u need to defeat the jiangshi one on one by dividing em

Inhaber a similar problem, right in the very first fight: I could stun and then kill one or two, but the two remaining ones just won't get stunned anymore
