Cop jobs

So i watched a couple youtube videos of people getting a mission called cop jobs, where they can patrol the street indefinitely. i'd love to do it, but i dont see the mission start! its supposed to be on the police station, but its not there for me. for the record i finished the 20 cop side missions, all of teng cases and completed the main storyline. what am i missing?

No man, this missions are the BLUE STAR ON THE MAP . All the blue star is a COP JOB.

Ah, so basically instead of doing that patrol thing, they separated them into their own individual mission? i get it now :D

Yes , all over the entire game we have this blue star . Just get close to it , and you started the mission .

Are you sure they weren't playing the Year of the Snake dlc? It's set after the main game storyline takes place. It sounds to me like they were from your description. I wouldn't touch that dlc content if you haven't completed the storyline as it contains spoilers.

If you have a link to those videos I can have a look at them and let you know if they are dlc. I have completed the main game, and both the DLC stories. I also managed to hit most of the side stuff too.

Just had a quick look at the "offending video". It's part of the year of the Snake DLC and that will contain spoilers for the main stroy if you play it before completing the main campaign.

FYI - there are bonuses that carry over to the main game upon completing that DLC.

Just a suggestion though - back up your saves as this game has no cloud support and for some reason the save gmes are logged inside the game's installation folder. I have discovered this after losing my completed game save recently when I uninstalled and reinstalled recently.

If you want to make sure you don't run into the issue of saves disappearing I recommend this piece of software Game Save Manager[www.gamesave-manager.com]. It can be synchronised to a cloud service like Dropbox or Google Drive.

yea i completed the main story and teng side jobs twice, once on my PS3 and now on my pc. for the PS3 i bought it the day of release, so no dlc. Anyways thats part of year of the snake? i will definetly play through it then (i was going to anyways)
