No Proper Input Support for PS4 DS4 Controller?

I plugged in my DualShock 4 to my PC using USB and Sleeping Dogs only recognises the controller with Xbox button prompts. Help?

I guess here you'll find only xbox buttons, I played with both ps4/logitech controllers and never got different prompts. Whatever though.

Don't expect a switch to dualshock buttons because the xbox controller was and still is popular.

Back then everything was layed out for those buttons. Microsoft, a big name, supported that controller on PC so that must be the reason everyone catered to that.

Steam updated the compatibility recently so there should be a bigger shift towards more controller variety for the casuals who don't install controller software.

The dualshock is pretty popular. Chances are good for more games with related icons in the future.

Games like dark souls and mass effect have mods for that. Can't find one for sleeping dogs though.

Live and learn, you can try those buttons out and you should get it down in no time.

Yeah DS4 works great but buttons obviously were not coded in at this point in time in the PC gaming scene.

BS i had this game running without DS software on the PC and the game was showing all the PS4 DS buttons (hints) now all of a sudden it wont.

DS4Windows setup with Xbox 360 scheme is the solution.
