The main quest, if you can really call it that, takes about six hours or so to complete. If you want to 100 percent complete the game that'll take about ten to twelve hours. The games pace is probably going to be diffrent depending on who is playing, due to how the game flows. If someone really knows what they are doing, they can probably beat the game in under an hour, but beating it isn't really the point in my book.

It takes only quite a few hours if it's strictly focused on doing only main-story

Well if yout talking about story line problay (If your good , like me at it) 5-6 hours....
but if your talking about days it go's for 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999days

if you playblind with no walk thoughts and do every thing in the game you can get a good 20 hours in

I played the DC, and finished in roughly 12 total hours. I didn't finish every sub-quest (couple just didn't interest me, like the Murder Mystery - don't care who killed who, the wild goose chase stopped being fun after three clues), but I did clean up on almost all of the jobs, and had a net-worth of around 500,000 when I cleared the game.

I got my copy for free, more or less. I wouldn't say it's worth 20 dollars, but it is a solid game worth playing.
