Troubleshooting and options

We've just pushed a new update to attempt to resolve the issue where some of you we're encountering a crash on launch. (See -singlethread)

In your Steam library, if you right click on Curses 'N Chaos and select Properties, under the General tab, you will find "Set Launch Options..."

In this field you can add command line arguments.

Here are the command line arguments(include the "-"):

• -windowed: Starts the game in windowed mode.
  
• -singlethread: This will make the assets load on the main thread. Should solve some of the crashes on launch.
  
• -unlockfps: By default, the game now locks to run at 60 fps. If you set this, it might run faster on some setups.

If your game crashes at launch. Try running the game with "-singlethread". If that doesn't solve it, add "-windowed".

Hopefully this will help those of you that cannot progress passed the first screen.
