I have a normal 4k resolution... turning it down to lower resolutions didn't change anything...
edit: Ah, maybe you think i'm using a VERY high resolution because of the screenshot? but that is only due to the setting in the options (8x nearest neighbor), when I choose "Graphics Filter: None" it says "640x400" under resolution, but still the same cut off window -.-
yes thanks, I knew this... but it doesn't help anything because I don't even see some of the option and so I can't change them
thanks for the tip, but I tried that already, doesn't work either...
for other games (e.g. the Apotheosis Project) the Setup works for me and I can select things like Desktop resolution, linear interpolation Filter, max fit scaling, vert. sync or smooth scaled sprites... don't know if that's possible for Technobabylon, too...
The options you're referring to were introduced in v3.3.1.
There's no setting in v3.3.0 to run full-screen without changing the desktop resolution. Your easiest option is probably windowed mode with 5x scaling, but it may be possible to get an acceptable full-screen resolution with some trial and error.
The only graphics-related options you can't see in the setup:
Enable Side Borders. This seems to be on by default. To disable:
Enable top & bottom borders:
ah ok, thanks very much for your help!
With the "max nearest neighbour" I have a good fullscreen on my 4k monitor, so I'll leave everything as it is now :)
thanks for checking back!
