Character Creation/Item Loss on death

I want to be able to create my character from start at least this way I feel more into my character being able to choose both Male and Female Genders should always be a Must IMO. also Item Loss on Character death We should be able to go pick it back up where we died at this way the game can have some replay value instead of losing all your hard earned gear even though I understand you have high chances on being able to get better drops but it should still be Implemented into the game for replay value and frustration in dying in game.
