What's the "In-game online shop"?

I saw the game and since I do like visual novel games quite a bit, it interested me right away. The story in the steam store page description sounds good and the game looks fine, too.

But then I got to the last paragraph in the description which says:

"You can use items that can be bought from the in-game online shop or visit various locations within the game to perform certain actions, which can improve your stats and your relationship with the characters."

The question that popped up immediately is what exactly is meant with "in-game online shop."
I mean a lot of these games have items to trigger events and stuff and you can acquire them through various means when simply playing the game but here I kinda wondered if this game is entirely free or if that ominous "in-game online shop" is one of those dreadful ingame cash shops, selling vital ingame items for real money (and if you don't fork over money you either have to grind or you simply don't get to see certain content at all). Because it sure does sound a lot like that based on the way it is worded.

If that isn't the case and it's not an ingame cash shop selling game items for real money, I would humbly suggest to the developer to change the wording of this particular paragraph in the game description on the store page. Because I'm convinced I can't be the only one being reminded of the common ingame items-for-money shops found in so many games these days and I'm sure it turns people away from the game simply because it sounds like that.

I've completed the game, and the "online shop" uses currency that your character earns at her part-time jobs in-game. There are no real-money purchases.

(Incidentally, if you see my short playtime, the game's not that short. I bought it at release from the dev and most of the achievements carried over)

I was worried about the same thing Demon. If what Horation says is true the dev really should change that paragraph so it doesn't sound like they have microtransactions.

Non.horation is correct Junoh. The 'in-game online shop' is just referring to something in game itself, there is noreal-life 'online shop'
