Lagging out alot
When my sub gets damaged and starts flooding i get massive lag, which makes it impossible to get up ladders or away from enemies so i either drown or get killed

Can I get your specs? Some people, especially with slower processors or video cards with poor support for PhysX have trouble with the particle system we use for the top of the water.

Okay so you're probably on a laptop as well? Something with, say, an Intel HD(something-thousand) graphics card? It seems to me that the game would very nearly work at good framerates for you, but alas, the combination of the slower i3 processor and the integrated non-dedicated video card means that you don't meet the minimum specs for the game. I've spoken a little more extensively in another thread about what the water is doing, and what our options are for optimizing it, but these things will definitely take time and I can't guarantee that it's going to get a whole lot faster anytime soon. Sorry bud. :(

All good this game is worth the wait :) Its not a huge problem, but i believe part of the reason is because i was streaming on twitch. I played last night without streaming and it did fine for the most part. It could also be a network problem because i noticed that when i host my own games its not as bad but when im on other peoples its bad

Same here, as soon as the vessel gets any damage, it was impossible to continue playing due to massive lagging. The Bots didn't react to any comands or repair the ship, while the the other crew members died. Was it the curse of the deep??? ;-P
Technical details: Laptop, Windows 8/64bit, Intel Core i3 2.50 GHz, Intel HD Graphics 4000.

We also have the problem that it's lagging alot when there are a certain number of holes (more than 5), and lots of enemies in the caves etc. until the point that the game sadly became unplayable. We couldn't move and couldn't do anything to improve the situation (repairing holes/killing enemies helped when there was only "minor" lagging). Also - my pipe wrench suddenly was turned into the phonograph when I started the engine O.o so I couldn't repair any holes afterwards. And my tesla gun was suddenly replaced with this eldrich wand thing and switched back and forth between the tesla gun the wand and the phonograph without any reasons. Oh and I was also carrying a "battery" the whole time without being able to let go of it or use it on any of the light/weapon/engine-things. I really like the game and would love to see these issues fixed (especially the lagging, because it caused massive problems for us to play the game).
Echoing this problem. My friend and I just died in the Aurelian Depths, when the game became unplayable due to lag. We'd had minor lag on other occasions but nothing this bad until the current version.

I have a different lag issue: I was going solo with 3 bots and I picked up a creature on the way. I would drop from 60 frames to a low 10 when, what it seems like, the bots jump around me. It only happened to me in caves so it wasn't a big deal.

I have this issue a LOT when the ship starts takign on water once you reach the third biome. It becomes absolutely unplayable, running at 3-5 FPS.
