Mac support?

The game itself is listed as working for Windows and Linux but the DLC is listed for Windows, Mac and Linux. I really want to play with my friend but he's on Mac. If he buys the game, will he be able to play?

So here's the thing with Mac support -- it's pretty much broken. Since Unity abandoned the connection tools the devs used they've had to resort to other methods, which unfortunately don't work well with Mac. Due to that, Mac support was pulled from the store page. So that begs the question -- why is the DLC listed for Mac then? It's because technically any Mac owners who bought the game before it was pulled from the store can interact with the DLC content. Either that, or it's just a mistake on the devs part that needs to be fixed. For your final question, if they didn't own the game before Mac support was pulled from the store they can't buy it anymore, despite the DLC being listed. So if that's the case you won't be able to play with your friend unfortunately. And even if your friend somehow gets their hands on the game you probably won't be able to join them anyway, since Mac connection tools for this game are, again, broken.
