Is it hard for 2 players? (Solved)

Is it hard playing 2 players compared to playing with 4 players? I was thinking of buying this with a friend, but we're not sure if playing 2 players will be difficult.

Yes, your best option is to make a Lobby with the friend and wait for 4 people.

Well you'd have to steer the ship, repair the ship, fire missles, and load missles. Each job there is for one person so I can't really say on a scale but you can just think about doing all of those with two lol.

Well you could still play with the one friend you know, just have to have two randoms join in to help

There's actually a dynamic difficulty system in place which will change based on the number of players. Is it totally 100% perfect? No, not yet. 2 player games are always more hectic than 4 player games. But I see people play 2 player games all the time and have a blast. Also, I'm extremely biased.

Honestly i would have an open game and get a few randoms in. Yes it is hard without voice chat but ppl tend to be good and everyone i met is pretty friendly.

It would be incredibly hard i'd say. If your unfortunate enough to start in a zone such as prehistoric or dark you would really, really struggle as the enemies can swarm and cause a lot of damage very fast. I tend to play with me and 1 friend but honestly the random players tend to be great fun and work together most of the time. Just decide between you what roles and starting weapons before you start and you will soon be able to tell if you have a good team It's an incredible game and i really recommend it. I was the same as you but i don't regret it one bit
