Starting a new day question.

So when you start a new day I just recently learned time does not move forward until you flip the sign to "open" which leads me to this question. If i take my time and change prices as needed and restock everything would I be actually missing customers? Or will I get as many customers throughout the day even after I wait to flip the sign? I ask because I notice some days start with customers waiting for me to flip the sign but I dont want to miss out on sales if it means I need to open right away. I hope this makes since to anyone reading and someone can answer.

it's random spawn throughout the day. some days you will spawn in with like 20 customers waiting gathering quickly outside, other days it'll be 2 or 3.

There seems to be no harm in using the start of day (or end of day, the clock never advances past 9) to restock, set prices and rearrange furniture, as you'll still just get a random number of customers throughout the day as normal.

Ok, thank you for the response, I have such a hard time sometimes describing what I mean so I wasnt sure if i was clear. Do the prices reset at 9pm? Or not until you start next day?
