Experience with Nexus Mods
Hello everyone,
do you have experience with the mods? Can you recommend any for example new cards (Harry Potter, Pokemon)?
Above all: if there is a developer update, do the mods still work?

Thank u and I wish you a happy new year!! :)

Nexus mods works fine as long as you know how to follow instructions and know some very basic things like how folder structures work - some modders can't be arsed to respect folder structure, so "unpack in the game folder" doesn't work for their mods. It's 900% a "them" problem, but with easy fixing if you can tell where to unpack things to make them work.

As for updates, some mods will be broken by an update, and require you to either wait until the mods get updated, fix what broke yourself, or play without them for a while. However, do not remove mods mid-playthrough, that can and usually will cause the save to either get buggy or stop loading for good.

And if you know how to manage folder structures, with certain mods you can do things like having several TCG types in your save. You can for example have the "Standard" rarity be Pokemon cards, the "First Edition" rarity be Digimon, the "Silver" rarity be Yu-Gi-Oh and so on. But it will take a lot of renaming files, testing and fixing what breaks.

Anyhow, TL;DR version: Nexus mods work fine but updates may break them until they get updated.

The mods for this game are easy to install as they pretty much all use the same method. I personally use the latest Hololive theme overhaul mod.
Wiess cards are good. (the TCG about turning anime shows into TCG) It also turns the playmats and plushies to hololive models. Might try Yugioh stuff and see what that looks like.

The Hololive mod is great. I'm using the Vshojo one myself. I'd rather have cards of cute anime girls than Great Value Pokemon.

I just wish there was also Holostars included in it.
