how do you run your store?
I start the day by paying the bills right away, for some reason they appear right when you open!

I then sit back and sell to customers all day
at roughly 5-6pm i turn on the lights.

once 9pm comes everyone leaves and you can re-stock the shelves at your own pace and prepare for the next day!
i try to keep packs up to the best per selling price and line the store with them. i do this cause the AI will buy the cheapest card pack they can find on your shelves!
i stopped with the Basic card packs or the boxes, and now i am only selling the Epic card packs... and they STILL buy the card packs like crazy!

my end game is to have a row of each card type in each store and see what happens

- At the start of the day, I run outside to my cashier and tell him to price things for me, then I run back inside and restock. Then my second worker arrives and they continue to price things out. Once they get to the card display, I send the cashier to the register and open the shop.
- Through the day I restock things and open packs and constantly refill the card display. (My other worker comes in and prices the cards I place down.)
- Around 6 I turn on the lights.
- At 9 I take over for the cashier so he can go home. Once everyone is checked out, I end the day.

I restock at night and have an auto price mod, so no pricing in the morning. I try to have two sided shelves everywhere and have each side stocked with one item type. I have the lights turn on and off automatically through a mod as well. I have taken to using the wall next to the door between sections for shelves to fit more. I will have workers handling the registers for me.

i have noticed you can sell anything that goes onto the shelves for +20% market value, and the individual cards you put on the stand can be +30% and they are still sold, anything higher and people do not like buying the items.

I have a "happy customer" policy.

It's simple, be happy or get robbed.

I start my day by running across my shop and jumping from on top of each shelve to the next without stopping trying not to touch the ground until i get to the front door. I flip the sign around to let the customer flow in immediately, turn the light on and pull a box of deodoriser of my dedicated shelf against the wall to fill my machines and then pop the box back. I then leap back from each shelf to the next trying not to touch the ground and sad if i do (each store day is extremely boring so it's the little bit of fun i get). I run past my rows of registers and park myself in the corner of the room so that i can clearly see all registers that allow trades.
I then jump off to you tube and pop back into the shop every one to two in game hours to check for trades (i do this as trades will leave if not interacted with within 1 in game hour). Each time a trade pops up i will buy/trade it if it is new or i have less then four copies, if not i decline (the extra copies are used for trades). If it is a ghost or a ghost foil i will always buy it so i am set up for grading when it comes out. When it gets dark i end the day and speed through the closing screen without reading anything ready to start again.

Every few days i'll pay rent and check inventory. If multiple products are out of stock or almost then i'd 40 boosters and 50 booster boxes of what is needed. I'll not open the shop for the day yet and put everyone on restock till everything is done. Then i set everything back up to the way it was and start the day as normal.

stack two item only that is the most expensive. Whip my workers like the slave they are cause they are expensive as hell and still slow. racking the money and open packs in the meantime.
The Watching Shadow 23 dez. 2024 às 1:06
Each morning I just price everything to the nearest dollar above market price (whatever it fluctuated to that day). It's kind of a pain in the ass doing so each morning, but items seem to sell rather well at that minor price bump. Plus setting it to the nearest dollar helps with the checkout timers (whether I'm doing it or one of my two employees on checkout).

Though, inventory wise my store is currently fairly simple as I don't add new items until 1) I get to the level for the next card pack tier (level 37 working towards the last two destiny pack levels), or 2) I see comments/reviews asking for items they're not finding (been somewhat rare for that though with just a few board games, cleanser, white dice, and blue deck boxes).

With two restockers and two at checkouts, I think I pulled in a profit around $4200 on this latest day (didn't buy any cards that day though). That's also considering running some play tables and not selling any cards (tried it before, but thought it was a hassle). My shelving is sort of a blend of a variety of products (mostly single packs and booster boxes of each card tier) and mass stocking the most expensive card booster box across the bottom row of all my main shelves (adapting the main meta, I guess?). :happyfaye:

I order in restocks throughout the day so it gets...hectic... :colinfacepalm:

EDIT: For reference, I have 10 of the shop A expansions and the base shop B expansion (nothing in there yet though). I haven't expanded past that yet though I'm aware of how getting more shop A expansions would help with how many customers I could have.

Also forgot to mention I refill the auto-sprayers if I notice one bar empty and keep a stock of cleanser in a personal shelf in case any smelly customers somehow get through.

I crack packs whenever I get a moment (or just spend time after closing cracking a bunch). I usually don't bother with the lights (saves on bills??).

-Pay the bills and have my workers restock and price adjust while I begin opening packs while I wait for them to finish
-Open the store and let things run as they do with the workers stocking and manning the register while I open packs and restock individual cards and bulk boxes when needed and reloading air freshener.
-Turn on the lights open it gets too dark (usually around 6:30 to 7pm) and resume pack opening and restock as above
-Once everyone is gone, purchase whatever stock is missing from the warehouse shelves and move on to the next day

Selling a wide array of items with the hopes of selling one of every time at some point (unlikely but one can dream).

Not in it for the money. Just want to run a nice clean store.

Shop Lv34. Here's my current SOP.
I currently have three employees:
- Dennis Brandon
- Clark Cash
- Angus Mick

General
- I do not currently sell or trade cards; I'm saving that for when I have the store fully built out
- Dennis and Angus are on stock duty, all day every day
- Stockroom has a slot for every item, and two slots for large-size large-volume items such as the first three board games and pack boxes
- Two spray machines bottlenecking the door.

Day Start
- DO NOT OPEN right away!!!
- Immediately pay all bills
- Have Clark update prices. (The two recommendations on pricing I've seen are Market Price +10% and MP rounded up to the nearest dollar. I haven't tried the latter yet; the former works fine for profit.)
- Once all prices are updated, have Clark help with stocking.
- Look at how much money I have left and make any upgrade purchases that seem sensible (licenses, DIY). Fill shelves and stockroom slot for all new items.
- Wait for the entire store to be completely stocked.
- Once it's fully stocked (all employees are idle), set Clark to register duty and open.

During the Day
- Hang loose and zap any smelly people who've gotten past my door sprayers. (I'm waiting on T1000 units at Lv40 to upgrade)
- Scheme and brood
- Enjoy watching my employees work for me

After Closing
- Check out any last minute purchases (Clark will ditch very quickly)
- Check the stockroom and order whatever's needed to fill all slots.
- Load purchases onto the stockroom shelves.
(NOTE: If you just leave the delivery for morning, your stock workers *will* put them away. However, you wind up with numerous partially depleted boxes in the stockroom, leading to less overall storage.)

Doing purchases in the evening and upgrades in the morning after paying bills means the "profit" stat the game gives you actually means something useful.
Powerhorder 23 dez. 2024 às 16:40
I restock at night after closing, then i open packs at night as well, anything above $10.00 i will sell.

I don't have any workers right now, been focusing on buying new stock.

I devote 1 item per shelf as of now that is 512 single cards worth of items, or the equivalent of other items.
I only have 1 card table for people to play on since i don't care about the tables.

Morning I set all items to market price +10% cards on display to sell at market price +20% I only sell duplicates

I check the air freshener thing and change if needed if i have nobody trying to buy at counter.
I try to pay bills everyday sometimes i forget and pay it later.
I'm not going for the most optimal ideally i want to be able to sell a full shelf of every item in the game.

I currently have a store consisting of only play tables while I try to farm the achievement for 5000 players, so I can remove tables from my store from then on.

I just sit by the delivery spot ripping packs all day, every day.

With only a few small differences this is absolutely how I play as well ! Happy to see I’m not alone. I spend my day jumping from shelf to shelf watching for trades. 3 registers going. 5 employees on restock. As the day is ending I survey the storage shelves that surround me and start placing re-orders so that when I start a new day my employees are immediately restocking. I load the anti-stink machines, pay bills, and then either reprice or open some packs until restocking is done and then I open. Rinse. Repeat.
