Automatic Card pack opening.

Okay why can't I hire someone and tell them to open up card packs with me? I love opening up card packs and the serotonin is nice. But even at max opening speed, I do not want to be opening card packs by myself when I have a hundred to go through. It's a pain, it slows the game down to a crawl and it's not fun.

I think you should unlock a table or something that I can dump packs of cards by the box on that I specifically want opened. This way they don't get confused, grab low value packs off the shelves or whatever.

I'd much rather my only job in this game be "picking out which cards to sell." And restocking. Which even that might need to be automated because it's a little bit of a pain. but eah, it would be hard to setup an AI to carefully select more valuable cards, swap out worthless cards for higher rarity and all that. Plus you'd need a maximum card value I want to put on display.

Why don't you just hire someone to play games for you instead?

There is a addon on nexus that will auto open packs for you. I have opened over 10K packs and still don't have all the cars from the regular basic set. I think its called fast pack opening and you can hold up to 1024 packs at the same time.

Anyhow, the only option right now is using mods. Maybe in the future that part of the game will be improved, despite, or probably to spite, the "u dun wan play dis game lol!" whines.

This is a simulation game. Maybe you haven't played factorio or rimworld or whatever else. But these games are automated, and so what? It's literally a game about hiring employees to do work for you. Do I stop playing in factorio when my robots do nearly everything for me at a whim and I'm just the architect in a complex system? no because I still have duties and tasks I have to do like ordering stock and running the business.

Plus how would a feature like this affect you anyway? Like whats your problem, you can just "not use the feature" nobody is stopping you. If that's how you like to play then great do it, I like to play games my way and you like to play games your way. Lets say you could make employees open packs, you could just "not make them do that task" and do it yourself. A feature like this just kinda improves the experience for the people who want it and don't affect the people who don't.

yeah I started messing with that mod and it's massively improved my experience. When I'm buying 10-15 boxes, I started playing it with 30 times speed.
