I can't make a red bulk box

I set the slider to the value as per the guide, but I can only create a pink box.
How many sliders should I set to create a red bulk box?

To make sure you get a red bulk box, you need to set sliders between $3 and $5. That makes sure you have a majority of cards fit for that box.

The thing is, if it's the "guide" I saw in the guides section, it's a flawed one. Red boxes need a majority of cards above $3, so having the slider set below $3 is going to cause the game to choose a lot of cards that aren't fit for red bulk boxes.

Yes, I know, "but that guide has five stars so it must be true!" Here's what one of the greatest characters in Borderlands said about that sort of things: "A story doesn't need to be true to be believed. It just has to be told." If a lot of people got lucky when using the slider values in that guide, they'll believe it will always work that way. It's a thing known as "placebo effect," reaching the wrong conclusion through limited and biased testing.

Make sure the minimum slider is at least $3.

I always keep my max price slider at the highest price for whatever currency you're using ($5 for USD, $10 for AUD etc) then I just keep moving the min slider down by one or two dollars at a time, depending again on the currency. I also keep my min card save at one card.

The problem with that method: The game can and will choose cards randomly, so you'll be wasting some cards of $3-$5 on white boxes. And later, when you want to make a red bulk, you may not have enough cards for it.

That's why I only make bulk boxes after I've done a bunch of card opening, starting with red and moving down to the next tier when I can't make anymore. And I don't mind, this isn't giving me real money, so it's not wasting higher price cards in lower tier bulk boxes for me.

This method might not be for everyone, but it's what works for me.

I found it best to wait until you've open a LOT of packs to start doing bulk so that way you're able to make a lot of colored boxes from red on down more efficiently without wasting too many cards on lower boxes. That way you can even box them and have the workers stock them for you.

i buy 12-20 boxes of 64 cards at a time every few days (depending on the spare funds i have after restocking to still turn a profit for the day) and when i go to make the bulk boxes i get a lot of the higher boxes (i have minimum price set to a little under £1 when going for yellow boxes to make sure i don't get white ones (or would be very unlucky to), and set to £1.94 when farming purple and red ones to take out chances of yellow (again, unless very unlucky)

Yeah thats the way to go. I used to have a routine to ripping packs at night and then i'd have the boxes accumulate to do bulk so i could then box them and leave them and let the workers do the rest. If you have the storage shelves set up well the workers can finish the job and makes your life easier
