Add Workshop Mods
This would make the game even more noticeable and fun because then you would have iconic card games like Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon, Magic The Gathering, and a ♥♥♥♥ ton more to come. Please make it happen, then we can have more fun with it and build decks, etc. I really think you should consider it.

I was about to make this request. seriously the game fits for endless modding opportunities

Ton of mods on the Nexus Mods Site for the game. May be a some time before or if the game gets workshop support.

The game's already getting "endless modding opportunities."

I'm using a mod that lets me have several texture sets at once, so I can nerd out selling Pokemon, Digimon, YGO, Dragon Ball, MTG and Hololive cards. Which, yes, means there's already modded texture packs of all of these (and more.)

Also, my hands can hold 9999 cards, everyone bathes before showing up at the store, prices get automatically updated without having to suffer any fools, and I can order new stuff just by interacting with the product's labels on shelves.

I have been thinking the same thing. After playing WWE 2K24's MyFaction, I would love to create my own deck of wrestling or sports themed cards. Not just WWE or sports, but just about anything. I remember during the 80's, there were trading cards for Michael Jackson, Star Wars, & even Alf.

Adding in, I switched EVERYTHING to Hololive in one mod. The mods are also really easy to install.

This generation is just very, very PEBKAC about modding, and thus want modding to be lobotomized-friendly. Some people I've seen complaining about lack of Workshop in other games would likely need instructions on how to follow instructions.

So they can't even follow the simple instructions for BepInEx.

Should of seen a topic a bit back of someone with the reading comprehension of a gnat failing to understand how to do a super simple step by step instruction. Everyone wants to get their sh~t handed to them on a bloody silver platter these days. Steam Workshop isn't the "end all, be all" mod supporter as a lot of the times it doesn't even do what it's supposed to do. Hell, some companies even stopped using it.

Now, I'll admit some games' modding can get super confusing, but this is one of the many that are super simple to mod.

I support OP on this topic.

Steam Workshop exists for ease of access. Also makes it easier for those who create mods. Having all your mods for all your games collected in the same client you use to launch your games is just practical, it's a no brainer. Same with having all your mod projects also gathered in one spot.

Having to use Nexus is not hard, it's just unnecessary extra steps and another client to use and register on, it's the same thing with having to log into third party launchers to start a game on Steam. It belongs in an outdated era. No one needs that bloat and it makes zero sense to champion it as far as games on Steam is concerned.

Games on Steam that claims to be mod friendly should support Steam Workshop integration, end of story. If you want to take those extra steps to Nexus to get your mods, then fine, but don't try and enforce it upon others when there are legitimately better options that can be made available. It doesn't make you superior, it just makes you an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

If you want Workshop integration, are you willing to 1). Pay more for it as it takes additional code and test effort by the developer and 2) wait the extra time for this to get added to the game. It is not a trival exercise to add in, more so with Unity do to asset packing. I agree it is easier for the player to use mods with workshop, but Nexus mods works now and it's not rocket science.

Where has the developer claimed that those are the prerequisites for Steam Workshop implementation? Just because we can make up whatever requirements we want, doesn't mean they exist.

which mod?

It would be nice if they do that, but then ask yourself, have they ever done that with past simulator games?

The answer was no. So I sadly doubt they will. Which would have made this more fun idea, plus the thought of them adding a TCG 3D dueling system. (like yu-gi-oh show and manga) And we would have to pick someone to be our Ace for some world tournament.

Strange thing to ask, when the real answer is this is the very first game that this dev studio has ever made. They can easily add or not add workshop feature.

Easily depends on what they need to do to implement it. The main reason that Nexus and such still exist is because there is no extra work needed on the devs end. It all comes down to money and time. This dev likely really wants to save on both due to this being the first game from them. If it were to be put in, it would likely be after full release.
