Is it even USD thats being used in this game? I don't know in what world a customer service employee wage is 1000 USD a day, but I'd like to live there. I'm a nurse who sometimes works 12 hour days and I make about 300 USD a day.

The currency is not anything. All a "different" currency is is a different symbol or letter. If you set your currency to pounds or euros or w/e notice that the prices don't change from dollars.

That aside, the economics of the game are not at all realistic. Things cost too much or too little and it is almost impossible to go broke when in reality game shops go out of business constantly.

When will developers learn to "develop" their own currency for video games... so people won't be confused.. (and create MUCH less work for themselves)
