Major frame skipping issue

Since the newest update, whenever I walk around in the store, it skips me around as if I'm running at 1 fps. This also occurs when I am carrying items, or ringing out customers. It will skip forward some frames, and sometimes the game runs in slow motion periodically. It is currently unplayable for me in this state.

this game runs at 12 fps on my PC, while i can run the latest AAA game smooth as butter.

i have to drop resolution down to 1080p, and play in windowed, just to get 40 fps lmao.
a game that looks like this, and this small, should run on any potato, its ridiculous.

i have an absolute montser of a pc, but cannot play this game above 55 fps, ive heard this game is optimized by 7th grade kids learning coding

I'm playing on a budget PC with a GTX 1660 Ti, costed no more than €500, and I still do about 110-130 FPS.
Pretty sure the "55 FPS" is a setting or "you" issue and not the developer issue, if what you say about "monster of a PC" is true.

Wow yeah, I have a i5-6600k with the cheapest 4060 RTX GPU. DDR3 mobo, 16gig ram. I get 50-100fps depending on how many items I'm looking at once. This game definitely is optimized but has room for improvement. Obviously early access soo..

Make sure you have "Unlimited FPS" selected and that "Disable VSync" is checked in your settings in game.

yes, there is a FPS sink in the, sometimes out of nowhere I go 5fps, then all of a sudden back upto 100fps...

I have same problem.Unlimited fps and disable V-Sync not work.
