Tables expansions more tables hahaha. You can literally sell whatever they will buy it, assortment doesn't matter at all. Dont waste space with card packing desk, or card selling table unless you have alot of dupes to sell also.

yeah , early game card selling is just an annoyance at the till, for change as the cards sell for so little, unless there is some reward for card collection or display, better off just selling boxes of them

my current layout
ive sold prolly 10K worth of rare cards, i have switched gears and just sell merchandise for the last 5-7 days and the money gain is a slow creep. licence are ridiculous until you finally plateau with limited new unlocks

Honestly wouldn't even bother with licenses just more expansion and tables. Expansions mean more customers and a increased wallet size so :P

just sell booster packs only you we make easy 10k the higher you go i make 30k profits just selling the second highest one with 4 workers and all spaces unlocked in shop a / b which cost me around 3.5k daily on bills

Adding spaces increases AI wallet size?

The game really fails to onboard players effectively. And the license unlock timing and costs are not in any way balanced.

Here's what you want to do. On day 1 buy the 64 pack license for commons for $50. Buy 1 card table for $400.

Buy as many 64 pack boxes of commons as you can afford and squeeze a 32pack box in if you can.

Open every single pack. Sell the best singles you get, but remember that you'll only be able to sell cards around 700 or less due to customer wallet maximum mechanics.

You should ideally have made around $1400-$2000 depending on luck with pack opens and customers spawning with enough money.

During the day when you get money consider buying a play table and some other stuff for the tutorial.

End the day.

Morning of day 2 you should buy 2-3 shop expansions to raise the max budget your customers will have and to spawn more customers.

Buy more common packs to rip for singles and a second card table. Sell those singles and keep restocking them.

On the morning of day 3 you should be able to buy a couple metal racks and some cheep licenses for card sleeps and other cheap stock. Having more different stock brings in more customers. You may or may not want to buy an extra shop expansion or two. Buy more common packs, maybe 10-20 64 pack boxes depending on your money.

Ripping lots of common packs gets you singles to sell and raises your store level. Opening common packs is the most cost efficient way to farm experience because every single type of card pack gives the same average amount of experience all the way to legendary destiny packs.

Bills add up every day and you have 7 days before they are automatically paid. So keep on top of paying bills.

The more variation the more money you make. I have everything unlocked and if you put it all out for sale on 20% mark up you can make a killing. Not even bringing single card sales into play. Those are a whole different market. Even without single card sales as long as you have all store items marked up 20% you can profit 15k a day.

Card Boxes and Dice have maximized my return early in the game - along with watching the market and being a slip below it (when your items get "tempting" I tend to find you get a huge amount of sales, especially for the last of the day crowd).

I second this tip. Rounding the prices for everything so you never have to deal with any kind of cents, saves tons of time. It also makes your AI workers at the register faster. Because they pause for a second every time before they give out change, whether its a single penny or a dollar. They will pause for every little action. So by rounding prices you make it so they never have to deal with cents, thus they complete transactions faster by several seconds that add up.

I have a stocking employee, i round all prices on a 10% markup atm. Its slow but its slowly working. And i agree having the licence to never have a customer walk away empty handed is a big part of it.
