Can we really expect a realistic TCG if people are already cheating the game?
I seen a person playing online and they had way more money/experience than I feel they should have for the current day they were on... Looked it up and there's cheat trainers you can buy for unlimited exp and money...

So idk. The game is fun but there's just no way to have a value system in a climate like that. I was only expecting a little game to play against bots while employees work, but I am just putting the thought out there.

As far as I know, the market values aren't online and are specific to your save. So other people using trainers wouldn't affect your gameplay.

C'mon its a solo game, if they want to cheat let them do, in 2 ays of play they will stop to play and take your fun the way YOU you want/need mate, i will be surprised if the market values are for everyone ^^

I mean, just say you cheat games. Its okay. A roadmap for a playable TCG insinuates multiplayer though, thus the post.

I kinda hope if they actually get serious down the line about making a TCG that its disconnected in the value front or people who used a trainer to instantly be max level and crack as many Ghost rares as possible dont just have phenomenal decks... Something they will have to consider.

I started tying a serious response and then looked at your profile name. Not gonna lie, you had me in the first half. Well played.

In the off chance you think this game is a launchpad for a multiplayer TCG, it isn't.

PFFFFFt You know what the TRADING part of TCG stands for right? It is implied inherently.

mtg arena: no trading.
hearthstone: no trading.
literally any official yugioh videogame: no trading.
pokemon tcg live: no trading.
runeterra: no trading.
gwent: no trading.
shadowverse: no trading

the inherent implication with a videogame tcg, as it has been for almost 30 years, is that it is a card collector with even matchmade multiplayer as an after thought until about a decade ago.

I get it, you're a troll trying to claim that TCG and CCG haven't been interchangeable since MTG released 31 years ago and effectively created the genre, and as such this is really a case of false advertising. If you want "value" for your digital trading cards, might I suggest you look into NFTs? I'm sure you'll make it big with Gods Unchained or Axie Infinity. /s

Thats cute.

I get it, you made a list and poo flowers but the truth is you can trade on Magic online and some lesser known things. Looks like you did your googling so thats a start...

and MTG didn't create the genre, just popularized it. Different meanings there lol. I had a good laugh though thanks for that.

This Game is a TCG SHOP SIMULATOR not a Trading Card Game itself. I really think you missed the Point in what this Game is.

You know what early access v0.4 means right?

Yes, the current version is v0.40. What's wrong?
Note the roadmap on the right-hand side of the screen. There is no mention of a multiplayer mode at all.
Are you referring to a "Playable TCG"? It should simply mean 'offline games where you, as the owner of a card shop, will be able to play the games you are dealing with'.
If you seriously think otherwise, and you really think 'cheats' are a problem, you can ask the developers about it on Discord. Please do so.
Mattymac Sep 28, 2024 @ 2:24am
It isn't insinuate that there would be multiplayer at all. Given there is no actual multiplayer listed in the roadmap you would assume everything will continue to be solo.
Solo trading with NPCs
Solo playing with NPCs
etc.

A small dev like this one isn't going to go through the efforts of stopping people from using mods and having less people play their game.
Hunith Sep 28, 2024 @ 3:07am
even if they did add a multiplayer aspect to being able to play the TCG. i feel like it would be localized to the save file. so like you and a few friends all play on a fresh shop together maybe each player has there own binder and you can trade and battle your friend. i highly doubt it would become a online version like MTG arena.
