I paid $1000
have 12 on the shelf = $204
It's 1/5th paid when they sell already...
i just feel like that money and shelf space could go towards something that turns a profit. unless you are exclusively selling cards less than 17 cents a piece you're still losing money.
You are going to lose more money by holding onto them or even putting them up for sale. Anything under $2.00 takes longer to put up, adjust pricing (Even just 1 time), check at the register and process the transaction + possible change.
You're thinking about the raw value of the stuff you're getting rid of, but that's meaningless if you factor in what I mentioned above. You can sell by bulk faster, or take forever to sell 1 by 1, which would never end. You pick
I only use the workbench once every 5 days, otherwise the workbench is packed up on a box and stored in front of the door to the right of outside (it doesn't despawn) and then I just set it up, create a bunch of bulk one night and pack it up again!
On night 22 and I've already paid back ~$700 of the $1,000 and I sell my bulk at $15 each.
It is worth it in the long run but not a requirement.
Also the max is not 10 cents, its 1 dollar.
Another key thing, make sure to add at least 10% to the cost of singles. The higher the value, the more you can upsell it. I might try to sell a $300 market value high end card for $400. Someone will grab it. The customers are obsessed with singles. So its based on how much you're willing to upcharge them.
I also always round costs by the dollar so I don't have to deal with coins lol
Occupies 2 wire shelving's worth of space easily, you need shelves to sell the boxes, takes too long to use for no return. When you can have employees auto restock those same shelves and make more with no effort.
