The two refresher thingi might be a good thing if you have enough money to spend tho.
You lose business. There are customers who will either leave, or refuse to enter the store if its too smelly (I've seen customers walk out the shop without buying anything and turn away before entering the shop with the line "Its too smelly" above their head.
I suspect it probably can also make them spend less (I've seen customer say its too smelly but still queue up to buy what they had in their hands, but potentially would have spent more if that effect didn't trigger). It also likely effects customer satisfaction and whilst we don't know exactly how that works, its probable that the more positive customer interactions you have, the more customers you get coming in to the shop.
1000 is not that much long term. I actually have 3 on the go right now as I was finding that the pathing sometimes managed to doge one of the sprays, and I know catch 99% of smelly customers, the only time I miss is if you get two come in close to each other in such a way that the first triggers the spray, the second is far enough away to not be hit but also close enough to get through whilst the sprays are on cool down.
