Duplicates sorting

Did this break? Originally, when I sorted for duplicates, I got a list sorted by price, where the cards had more than x1. Now I get a list with several dozen pages of x1 cards, before the actual duplicates start.
I checked, it has nothing to do with base/destiny card interactions, it simply shows some x1 cards in the front. I believe, that I once HAD duplicates of these cards, but I sold them. Maybe the internal counters don't get updated when a card is sold?

lmao both of you cannot read the patch notes haha.

the new duplicate sorting now makes it that it just doesn't show the 1 cards, so if you are on duplicate and it shows 1 you actually have 2.

That is not what the patch notes say! It says: "Updated Duplicates sorting to not the show card in album if you only have 1", so it should only hide the cards, where you have 1, not hide 1 card of each.

you know you can just test it easily ingame and confirm that it works how i said?

go on duplicate and go to your most expensive card the one on the very top left.

now go on price and go down until you find that card, on the duplicate page it will show 1, on the price page it will show 2.

cards where you actually only have a single one will not show on the duplicate filter at all.

I am not saying, that you aren't correct, I am saying, that the patch notes are incomplete. They are not actually saying everything that was changed. And your comment "we haven't read the patch notes" is irrelevant, as the thing that I complained about is not actuallly IN the patch notes.

i think the new system is much better, but i also think there should be a message ingame on the duplicate filter that explains how it works, i am sure it will confuse alot of people.

IMO this system is far worse, it is far easier to manage without hidden cards. You see 2 you know it is 2 , not possibly 2+1.

The original system didn't need explaining, it just worked. Why fix something that was not broken in the first place?

you don't use the duplicate filter to see how many cards you have, you use it to sell your duplicates, with the new system it makes sure you no longer accidentally sell the last copy of a card you had, which before this update was very easy.

I do agree, that for a "duplicates filter", it makes more sense to only show the duplicates. The problem I have in game, is that it is not a FILTER. It is a "sort by" function and as such it doesn't make sense to hide cards. So in my opinion, it should be a button separate or outside the "sort by" area, before it makes sense.

Agreed!!! I am way to paranoid now selling anything in that tab that says x1 as it makes me think I am selling the last card I have...they need to have it when you have say 2 of the same card, say x2 then disappear when there is 1 left and not show a x1

I wish there was an option to Lock 1 of each card so we wouldn't have to worry or have anxiety about accidentally selling our only copy. Might help with this entirely.

We've been used to one system which is why people dislike it, but once you're used to this, it's not bad. This makes it where you don't have to be careful and read how many cards you have left before you run out. You can just sell sell sell and will always have one of that card.

It is not that it is bad or new, it is that it is part of the "sort by" list, but is actually a filter, which is not only counter-intuitive, but also makes you mistrust the shown numbers, as a sort should not change numbers.
