Mods and save files

if the game gets a update and the mods don't work anymore can you just keep playing without mods? is there a risk that you cannot continue your save?

i am only planning on using mods that add skins such as the PokeMod.

the games start is so painfully slow i really don't wanna risk having to start all over, but the mods looks so awesome.

dont see why a reskin mod would affect anything like that. its only changing the photo for the card and nothing else. should just revert them to the normal picture. if your worried just keep a extra save u dont touch 1st after a update

I was testing out a mod not realizing it was out of date so it ended up making my game crash not too long into playing with it (one of the pokemon mods) so I verified the integrity of my files and was able to go back in and play without issue using the in game skins and card art.

the only issue i've run into with mods is they affect achievement unlocks, I used fast card open and didn't get a few achievements while it was installed that I should have unlocked, like legendary destiny pack, unlock all shop upgrades, etc. I'm not too big on achievements so it doesn't matter to me, but just be warned.

I have the Fast Opening Mods and I still gets my Achivements without any issue

I have that mod and just got the $10k sales in a day achieve, that mod at least doesn't affect unlocks.

I forget which mod it was, maybe one of the pokemon or digimon mods but after installation there were extra items in the shop on top of all the regular stuff. Not sure if that has potential to corrupt a save but it's worth talking about
