SHELF FOR 3000???? HUH? WHY IS IT WORSE THAN THE ONE FOR 750?
This doesn't make sense, I assume this has been discussed already? if not then this is what is weird to me

1 big shelf for 3000 take the same space as the 2 for 750(double sided shelf)

1 BIG SHELF Items stored: 12 compartments with 64 capacity-768 items
2 double sided shelf: 2*16 compartments with 32 capacity- 1024 item

I think this needs to be updated a bit, the big she;f should be 4 stories high to have 16 compartments to be actually worth to buy, but more important that its actually better then the previous cheaper one.

The amount customers can grab from a shelf is limited by it's slot capacity. So a Double Sided Shelf can hold 4 boxes or 32 packs per slot. The Wide Shelf can hold 8 boxes or 64 packs. Customers only visit so many shelf slots before they check out or head for the door. Bigger slots means bigger sales per customer. Yeah, they are expensive AF but having a few customers take 6 boxes of cards at time then may grab a dozen pack is going to pay it soon.

i use the same method on normal shelf, for example i use one side from shelf for 1 item: 8 slots cards. 8*32. or packs 8*4. people grab a bunch as well like you said 8 boxes etc. But that doesnt justify that shelf, should be bigger.

Maybe you miss understood my point. Customers are twice as likely to reach their max budget with the wide shelf. It has the potential to literally double your daily income!

i don't think program is written like that, but i will put it to a test. i think the capacity of the slot matters as long as there are enough points of sales(slots) why i think that is because cards on boxes which are 4 on the shelf in your theory should not be sold more than 4 per costumer(4 in a slot) but have them have sold up to 8. so that costumer took the same item from 2 slots. which means it doesnt matter how may capacity it has, its just storage amount whats counts in the program

I just use the small cabinet shelve, the very first one for $150, more space than the regular shelves if you put a second one down to match the amount of room taken up

Not sure if it works that way, I use double shelves and customers still buy more then 4 of the same box sometimes.
