This is one of those cases where game mechanics, early release, and reality need to be set to expectations :).
Early Release: They could improve work capabilities that speed impacts. Aka exclude coinage or speed it up across the board.
Mechanics: Something has to make those "speeds" a differentiation and worth upgrading right? They will never be as fast as you think they should be, its a game!
Right now, you do really have to round your prices primarily due to this...
I have found at this part, you typically just need to help first thing in the AM and maybe once in the afternoon, the normal cashier will back up but generally clears it out.
The level 25 very fast guy and a normal guy seems to be able to take care of sales in the 7-10k range without any intervention (level 34 currently).
Yeah think it's about your play style and wants?
I would rather stock and setup the store than play cashier.
Though will say, I think the $50 kid is a no brainier to keep for ever!
