A customer will only be dissatisfied if they do one or more of the following:
Haven't purchased an item.
Haven't purchased a card.
Haven't played at a play table.
The main reasons why any of these 3 would occur is if:
Your prices are too high.
They can't find the item on their list.
They can't find an empty play table seat.
They can't find the checkout.
They can't find any items on any shelves they've internally checked.
Dissatisfied customers don't affect your game whatsoever. They are just a stat that is saved to your game.
Make sure you have every item available for your level. If you can unlock it then the customer might come in to target shop for it. I am pretty sure even the spray can be on the list.
I don't have singles or play tables in my store anymore because they destroy my daily sales/XP.
For prices I would not go over the Market->+10%-> Round combo. I am Market Round or Market -> -10% -> Round. I get about 150-160 customers a day and only 10ish are dissatisfied.
The penalty for satisfaction isn't in yet. I believe it's high up on the roadmap though.
I get between 6 - 12 dissatisfied customers a day. Thank you for the information. Perhaps it's because I've boxed up my card table. It's so tedious to keep stocked.
IMHO, stocking every item is tedious and I stopped doing it by about day 50. Just embrace the dissatisfaction, and focus on your next goal.
Nah, that's stupid.
I do NOT sell everything, for accessories I typically only put out 2 of each, highest profit.
As was mentioned, from a purely money making perceptive you are better off selling fewer high profit items and taking the hit on dissatisfaction.
