“This game isn’t coop because people don’t want to play games with other people sometimes. Co-op woulda make it more of a hassle.”
This is just factually incorrect lol. Co-op gives you the choice to play with others. Not require it.
I know a substantial amount of ppl simply unwilling to get the game atm because they would only find it fun to play with a friend. So if the dev does eventually get to it, it’ll bring a bunch of new players.
Having options is always better, not saying it’s required, just would be nice.
Would we rather them spend their development time on content that everyone will play or co-op that some will play?
Correct you do get a choice BUT would you rather have a SINGLE dev working on something a very small fraction of players care about or bug fixes and meaningful new content that everyone can enjoy?
I'd hope the latter.
Saying "this is false" does not make it true.
If you want a game like this , a simulator , go play Supermarket Together. It's free and seems to be what you are looking for.
Correct.
Also correct. It takes time and money and was clearly not designed for this.
you know there's supermarket games on steam right now that have coop in them, at least one of which is free. That said i'd like the option here too.
Go find one that is, and leave the ones better made for single-player alone.
