Does it need more than 1 spray? i feel like its not doing anything but i only have 1 can in it atm idk if that changes anything

They aren't strong enough on their own. But putting two of them right next to the door will take care of most smelly customers. The second can slot is just so you don't have to refill as often. Don't bother with the stronger auto cleaners after the first one -- they are bulky and don't really work any better than the first one available. Some adjusting needs to be done to these to make them more useful.

yes at least 2 sprays per smelly customer (it can take 3 sometimes), HOWEVER i have noticed if 2 or 3 walk in at the same time, only 1 will be hit with the spray, the other will not, even more annoying is they may take 1 hit each which then means you have to chase down both to manually spray em.
Spray should cover all who walk in, not just 1, especially since they have a CD timer before spraying again.

I was curious about that. I had one just by the door and it hadn't cleansed anyone. Once I moved it near my play tables though, they would walk past it multiple times and wouldn't be stinky anymore.

You want to use two of the $500 units, put them at entrance and funnel people through smell-trap by placing furniture accordingly.
