Until then there are mods you could use. I'm using one that allows me to hold 63 packs and open the packs 10x faster. So it takes maybe a second or two to open a pack.
Not sure if that will solve your issue but might help till they come up with one.
Also beware that it is a Single Player Game so even if you only have an Hour a Day you can play it without Problems.
but yes, i would also like to see a machine to open packs. I'm just too busy with my Shop and those Employees are slow in the Early Stage of the Game. Not worth at all. The Good ones later earn 12.000$ a Month. Pretty unbalanced if you ask me. But that's overall a Problem in the Game.
I do agree that, between pack opening and having to worry about fluctuating market prices for everything from play mats to dice sets to pig statues, more and more of the play time gets consumed by un-fun busywork as your store grows which makes playing the game less rewarding.
