Once i collect all cards from commons i basically never open them again.
Yeah, i still open rare, epic and legendaries though, you can somewhat tell what cards you're missing if you sort the cards by type.
I think the highest full art legendary foil was 7k in basics and 8k in destiny, something like that. There's a lot of cards ranging from 2-8k so you should eventually get some, later on i recommend opening destiny packs for a higher chance of ghost foils.
I've collected all basic cards in a previous game, that's how i know.
This. The Legendary packs are the way to go. Best value possible per card. You'll see consistent $100-200 cards with occasional cards in the thousands. You can actually look at the TCG price follower on the phone and sort by type, they tell you what the current values are for each card in the set, and which pack they come in. The highest quality you can find has the highest value on average. Legendary>Epic>Rare>Basic. Doesn't mean you can't pull something great from a lower pack, but it won't be as good as what that same pull would have been in a Legendary.
