Question about shop expansions and play tables
Hello, I'm on day 24ish, level 19.
I stopped using play tables a while ago and I feel there was a huge increase in costumers, wanted to check tho if the play tables are worth it maybe late game? I saw there's some achievements on it and a few tournaments I didn't unlock, do you guys have any tips on it?

Also, is it worth it to expand the shop? I feel like I can squeeze out everything (without said tables) in just the default setting, I'm not really sure of a good reason to expand it.

They are not worth it. Each customer at a play table account for a half customer in the shop, and your shop has a customer limits (which depends on level, expansions etc)
So each playing table is costing you money, especially late game (i m level 88)

And yes, expansions are super worth, it increases revenue

Play tables actually raise the limit of customers that can be in your shop. It does not necessarily translate to more income, but still. And it does not mean you'll have more customers daily either.

Expansions help with how much money each customer has. Useful to sell expensive cards, for example.

Expansions also raise the max amount of customers you can have in your shop simultaneously. That means profit. Expansions are just a good investment, whether you use the extra space or not.

Unless something changed recently, play tables raise the limit by 1 for every 2 players, so while the actual limit is going up, you're still losing overall.

I do a "no sell run" right now and earning only money through gaming tables and tournaments. You always earn more money in the end. Right now i am lvl28 + 12 expansion with 6-8 full tables with earnings between 1700-2500$ per day(always run highest tournament + no entryfee changes).
Sure you can earn more money with selling stuff, but you'll have to invest time + money too.
Tables are easy passive income and rightnow i would say they are gamebreaking implemented.
I mean, i'll just buying boosters and open them most of the time + refill the sprayers + pay my bills + creating a cardmuseum.....easy packopening simulator time^^

Either way, in the end you will have enough money.

Losing what? If your one and only goal is to have more customers in your shop at the same moment, have play tables. No way around it.

If you have other goals (min/max profit or daily visits), then I was pretty clear about the impact of play tables.
So if play tables limit customers, what is the point of expanding shop then. We are supposed to be free on what we want to do to our shop and it should be compensated by number of customers, not limit them. At first I really like the game but now, bills super high, employees. less customers. tried changing/adding varieties, it became worse.
The maximum number of customers is how many people can be spawned in the world at once. Since I've tried a mod that increases this, I can tell you that it's a limitation that may be set just so your game doesn't become unstable and crash a lot on weaker machines.

In any case, play tables don't limit customers, they share the same spawn pool while making your customers stick around for way too long for the money they'll pay. However, it's entirely possible to get to level 50+ using only play tables - made a lot easier, in fact, by not having to waste money on beached whales employees.

As for "variety" it just spreads your money thin. Customers will have a small set of items they're looking for, but they also (seem to) have a chance to "reroll" into something you have in the store if they don't find any of the items they want. Or they'll just pout and leave, which makes the next customer spawn faster.

"Bills super high" may be due to the above. If you're wasting money nonsensically, you won't make ends meet. It's one of the few realistic things in the game, and far less annoying and easier to counter than smelly customers.
