Lost my save

I went to save the game and my auto save and slot 2 save were completely deleted. It showed my shop balance, level, and time as -'s. I went to try and load them to see if it was just a visual bug and it sits at a black screen with the loading prompt completed at 100%. It never fully loads and I have no way of getting that store back. I fortunately have another store save that it safe for now, but all of the progress on my second store is gone for good. Love this game but hope this gets fixed ASAP.

Please restart Steam for an update and go to the save folder and check if there's 0kb .json files, delete those.

Save folder path:
C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\LocalLow\OPNeonGames\Card Shop Simulator

i am actively playing and seeing the save thing. my saves are blank now and i cant see them on my save game screen.... i fear that if i close the game my shop at level 70 will be gone forever

This worked, but btw you need to specify to people that they need to put their own PC name in that path. You copied your own PC name.

"C:\Users\[PC NAME]\AppData\LocalLow\OPNeonGames\Card Shop Simulator"

Yep I have the same problem, just staring at my screen right now hoping I dont lose my current progress. Does anyone have a fix?

I ran into the same problem. Lucky for me it was only a days progress. I played the game after the update and when I tried to save the game next day, It would show saving but wouldn't actually save the game. Also if you exit to the main menu and try to load that it shows the loading bar to 100% and the game gets stuck there.

Can confirm if you delete the json files it will show you save data and you can load it.

Can also confirm that this fix will make your save go back to normal even if your game is running. I deleted the json files while the game was running, the files went back to normal, and only then did I update it through steam

Delete all the 0kb .json you see, DO NOT delete the .jsons that have data on them

thank you. i did this and it worked. I hope others are able to do the same thing and recover their shops. i love this game a lot and stream it so i thought our community progress was gone...over 100 hours played.

can I do this with the game running? I saved my game for the day after getting 2 of the 5 cards I needed for a set. the save that I had is now 0kb. the backup for that save is 0kb as well. the back up auto save for the previous day is there.

you have to make hidden folders visible

Same. I see no 0kb json files in my folder. Save data still doesn't work. Game is updated

What if i don't see any 0kb json files? Save still doesn't work for me. And i restarted steam and verified im up to date in the game.
