A lot of this can be automated with the workers. Else, there'd be no game for things like "auto pack opening" and what not.
If you just wanna open packs, theres free websites thats let you open fake packs, cs go cases ect ect ect, you dont need this game for that.
It wastes dev time on crap like this. I'm sorry but this genre is called a simulator and automation for everything just ruins the point of it.
Options aren't a bad thing. If you don't wanna automate, don't do it. Adding options to automate won't ruin the experience for anyone.
Self checks - Have you actually thought this through? Customers will probably check themselves at a slow speed, leading to lines. This task is already automated through employees. So the point would be to eliminate the employee cost (This is the point of Self check IRL) but you'd need more of them to prevent long lines. I think that's a fair balance.
Lights - This only effects the player. Just open your card packs in the dark.
Auto ordering - This is about the only thing I really do most days. But I guess it could be automated late in the game?
Auto pricing - You're only constantly changing prices to get the most sales, if you set prices right to start with it's not going to matter that much.
If an conveniant "option" exist, then the majority will use it.
It's crazy.
