Throwing away useless cards

Am i just not reading some instructions? is there a way we can throw away useless cards from our binder?

when u unlock the workbench you can sell them in bulk boxes

why do you need to throw them away, its not like they are taking up space. We have a magic binder that holds hundreds of thousands of cards.. we're not being forced to store the cards in boxes or anything.. makes no sense at all that you want to get rid of stuff that uses zero space.
