Make ALL workers stay at night.
I get they are trying to emulate that moment when most people goes home and only a couple people stay in the store for closing.

But it's really annoying that I'm forced to watch cashiers finish charging the last costumers, while all the restockers are gone, and you just wait there (burning time).

But then in the morning I get to burn time again watching ALL my workers restock, wich could have been done in the night. Why not let restockers keep working at night??, specially since we have to wait for the last customers anyway.

If we didn't had infinite time before and after working hours, I would not be sugesting this, but since we do have infinite time, this seems like a unnecesary inconvenience IMO.

Because this game is a simulation and in real life people have to go home and sleep, eat, etc.

Then why we have infinite time in the night, and infinite time with workers in the morning??

That argument make zero sense, because we still can have all workers, for an infinite amount of time, with no extra charge.

If it is a simulation then I also expect my employee's to be at work and clocked in at 8AM, not still walking down the street and coming in the door at 8:05 or whatever.

Be a better manager, and maybe they'd come in on time. Don't know what to tell you fam.

Well he is paying you 2-7x minimum wage. I would hope that would be enough motivation to show up on time at least

I think it's funny that they leave as soon as their 'shift' ends. They are usually out the door before the customers

I don't like that they aren't there first thing in the morning though, unless the clock doesn't start until you open the store and i just didn't notice

I think a simple solution to this might be having an over night shift. Like most stores do for stocking. I think it would be nice to end my day and have the store filled when the new day starts.

Just open the shop when the employe has arrived and he/she is on time.

Than my solution is, stop staying there and watching and start beeing a productive shop owner. Sorry but some people have problems... When my employe leaves there are still a ♥♥♥♥ load of people in my shop so I cash them by myself. In the morning, I start re-stocking cards or other stuff till my employe has arrived. Can't understand such a demand like yours.

They've already worked a thirteen hour day, and their shows are coming on soon.

I believe this is actually bugged. The behaviour of the AI changes over time. When I first hired my very fast cashier he would leave the store at 9pm regardless of if there were any customers or not. I played a long session, 4+ hours, over multiple game days. I often found customers waiting at the cash register after 9pm because he would leave at 9pm no matter what.

I then saved. Came back later, reloaded and now that same guy will stay there after 9pm if there are customers in the shop. One time he simply refused to leave at all even though the shop was empty and dark.

This was the second time I noticed this. My first cashier broke in the same way when I told him to 'Rest' manually.

This inconsistency in behaviour suggests there is a bug in the code. I'm not sure if they are meant to stay after 9pm or go home. It seems to change for no obvious reason.

what i noticed is that the cashiers (1st and 2nd) will stay until their queue is done. if i take over the slowpokes register he moves to the empty one and just stays there until the day is over.
didn't test this with the fast one and an empty register (and i dont see a reason for it :D )
