Also if you're going to be trading, having dupes of all types will give you an advantage to getting new cards, as well as being able to "trade up" if they offer you a more valuable card than the one you have.
That said, Destiny packs have twice the chance at a ghost card, so you should move across to those once your shop is sufficiently leveled to them.
If you just want high valued cards to sell, open the Legendary packs.
If you want to collect, open them all.
If you want ghost cards, open the Destiny packs.
Personally, I used to just trim off uneven numbers of packs and open those. Then I realised I was only opening a handful of packs a day (i.e. too slow progress). So now what I do is simply buy an extra box of booster packs of one rarity and after restocking for the day, I sit and open that entire box. So I either open a whole 64 or 32 booster pack box after restocking - just in an effort to collect more cards of the set and attempt to pop a ghost card.
You can try that, pick a rarity and order an extra box just to open packs post 9pm.
