customer trading cards
Not sure if i'm just mentally deficient or not understanding how it works but I've noticed when i buy cards from people they don't show up in my album. Is there something else i have to do to be able to re sell the cards?

While, due to the sheer volume of numbers that this program requires to be crunched continuously, that volume increasing even more the longer you play and the more of some items you have the longer you play, I cannot say that from time to time things do not get lost. However, I have seen threads like this a few times in the past, and well. I felt like testing this tonight, better than getting involved deeper in the learning curve of a new game.

I am playing on day 600+ to be honest I don't pay attention to most things like that now, and I am in excess of level 130, and currently have a store built strictly on card trading, meaning I trade cards, and wait to trade cards, while my employees run the store.

In this store build I do not open card packs, so any change in cards comes strictly on card traders. Final piece of information I have duplicate of cards with hundreds I only have 1 or two copies of, and the rest I have duplicate from 20 to 33000 with many dozens many dozens of cards that have over 33000 of each. My total album value all three added together is in excess of $11 Million in value of collected cards.

So for one day, I tested the reliability, I checked if the total value went up by market value for every card I bought, and then went in and found the card to see if I increased by one from the value It showed I had when making the Trade. In every case, for me so far, the answer is yes. Value of cards went up by trade value of card I purchased, and the card count for that card increased by one. I will do this a few more times in the days ahead, but I am pretty certain I can say, tested and proven to working correctly at this point anyway.

what a reply. I noticed sometimes it takes the card a second to appear also. Not sure if it has something to do with the customer leaving the store or anything. One other time i noticed i got the card the beginning of the next day. other than those like 3 times i havent had that much of an issue

You saying i'm windy??? Or thorough hehe. Ok I will go with yes to both.
I am not sure about how long it takes, or what the customer is or has done after I purchased it, but I do know I immediately start to check the stats, and then search out the card, and that sometimes takes enough time for them to leave the store, have dinner, stop by the gym and catch a movie... I is slow!!!

But in all cases, prior and since, the market value has been added immediately, and I have been able to locate the card and verify the quantity of it has increased.

One other thing of note: Because I have been steadily creeping up on a total collection, every time I get a new card, I immediately check to ensure the number of cards still needs has decreased by 1, and then lately, have searched out the card I bought to verify its existence in my album.

hmmm ok I'm old, so I am not sure if that's good or bad, but when I was a kid, my mom was always sending me..... to my room. When a hard working adult, my supervisors were always sending me to other stores to straighten them out and help the employees become more productive.

going to my room now, until I figure it out!!

I've been testing this as well, and its alittle strange how it adds to cards indeed

I purchased a card from a customer, according to my album i was x0 and i was at 986 - i checked after i made the purchase and it was 987

I then purchased another card from a customer and then checked and then it was still 987, i did it again, nothing, i purchased cards from customers where my album said x0 and that number still didn't go up for several customers in a row.

i just made another purchase at x0 987 and its now showing 988

Erm ..... wut.

It works like 95% of the time which honestly is better then most AAA games I've played in the past 5 years. *cough* starfield *cough* Skull and Bones *cough*. I do wish when a customer asked for a trade i could offer a different card then the one they're asking for. Or like a card and cash but i do like the system so far

After testing it more, i am indeed not getting an increase to both the value and the card number, its as if the game is not registering a lot of the customer trades with me - im declaring this feature bugged and not something to use until further notice.

2 customers in a row
I checked my album before buying, 988, when clicking the customer it says album has x0 - i purchased both cards, album didn't move in value or card number.

I would have said its a x0 value bug, where it showing 0 when it should be showing the correct number, this is actually not the case, because the album value does not change at all, meaning i didn't acquire the purchased card.

.... im glad there are forums for this, because without them, i would have been puzzled and convinced myself it was bugged indeed - im a complete and utter spanner head, i forgot there are 2 albums for base and destiny v_v

But i do feel it is still bugged, as im so sure i purchased base cards earlier and they didn't go into the base set .... hm, i'll have to retest now.
