Make two or three more tiers that accommodates $5-$10 cards without being an obvious money sink, and people will want $10-$20. Then $20-$50. Each step of this never-ending increase will be consuming development time, for a more and more niche part of the playerbase.
I've seen what BePinEx can do in other games, so I'll say it with confidence: This is a thing that could be done with a mod, so asking for it isn't a bad move, it will eventually be a thing you can do either by delaying/cancelling other planned game features, or a modder dedicated enough to keep up with a relatively quick update schedule (and once the game's done being developed, modders can go wild with it.)
Its more that people want to dump their dupes of 100 or 1000, which makes sense but you shouldn't make a fortune doing it as they really would be no demand for that
Thats really more an "endgame" thing after you finish the collection you can start unloading them on card tables, which goes pretty quickly if thats all you're doing. I've done it at times with cheaper cards and when you can put out 50 of the same card they go fast.
