Its "safe", you could make some money and the worst thing that might happen is that they need to take the game down. A "1 man studio" is unlikely to have the sources to follow up with any legal actions.
The developer may beable to contact epic and get thag taken down.
It's so sad seeing other people ripping off this solo devs game like that. The guy has worked hard on this game.
To anyone that sees this DO NOT BUY THAT GAME. buy the one on steam from OPNeon
If it doesnt say OPNeon DO NOT BUY it's fake/ripoff
Edit. Seems the dev has been contacted about this game. Per info from official discord
We will have to see if it goes away. Epic has a copyright removal request form

Its a holiday weekend in the USA, so probably no one at Epic to see such a report yet, will probably be off the store by the end of Monday provided the developer did the request. If it never goes away it's safe to assume the developer of TCG Shop Simulator put the game onto EGS under a different name.

cray cray
Wonder how long it took to put that together, clearly a "quick buck" shovelware, just confuses me. I can see wanting to make a similar game and maybe you can start by copy-pasting but then do your own thing with it at least.
This just reminds me of the state of mobile games.
Lol, that's funny considering they are going after Palworld in the courts and threatening modders who make mods for this game.
It's hard to avoid clones at that point, but yeah, this one and the PS5 adaptation are so blatantly cash grabs. The one on PS5 even steals Tetramon.
I was about to mention the one on ps5.
The Palworld case is not about images of the creatures, but about the catching mechanism.
You're comparing apples and oranges by bringing Palworld into the discussion.
Yeah lol, nobody tell them about Wizard 101.
Let's hope the court throws them out, Nintendo is so disgusting these days.
"It's not about the money, it's about sending a message."
It seems very relevant that a massive corporation is suing a developer over using a mechanism of theirs but then would rip off a developers ideas themselves.
