Order empty boxes

Personally i would love to see away to order empty boxes and be able to store them somewhere like on a shelf. I make this suggestion as i find myself reusing empty boxes for the custom bundles or even just moving product around. I feel like they could be sold in the my diy app. Thoughts?

I just dump a load of empty boxes across the street. They stay there out of the way until I ever need them.

fair point, but if you use the Auto Stocker mod like i do the boxes get deleted automatically. likewise, if you use the Fast Pack Opening mod you can press delete to 'remove' the empty boxes. all be it just turning it off would likely help too.

So you want the dev to code something to the game because you are using mods he dont have anything to do with?
Wouldnt it be more fair to ask those who making the mods, to spend their time to make a mod for "spawning" empty boxes instead?

I'm not asking anyone to do anything. I'm just voicing my opinion on what I think would be nice to have. Ether the dev or a modder is able to do this is completely irrelevant. all though, even if you didnt use the mods ive mentioned and ordered 20 boxes of cards to open youre still left with the boxes to either throw away one at a time or save them and just pile them somewhere. its just something that ive thought about.

You literally wrote "I make this suggestion", and now you say youre not asking anyone to do anything? Ok.

I understand it doesnt matter for you who does it, but for someone who doesnt use mods and have the issue with "boxes get deleted automatically", it would make more sense if the dev spent time on the roadmap and/or issues on the actual game, and not on fixing issues caused by 3rd party mods.
Obviously youre free to ask for whatever you want, just voicing my opinion here.

True, thats what i said, but not every suggestion has to be implemented or acted on by dev or any mod maker.

I've had this on occasion where i want to move a large amount of stuff to another shelf. Sure you can accumulate empty boxes, but you have to pick them up, one at a time and bring them somewhere. It'd be cool to have a "stock cart" that you could put them on and then just move it where you need it to be. You could use a normal tall rack as well but having a couple long narrow carts u could fit easily would be nice.
Also having them not accessible to stockers would stop those guys from grabbing your filled boxes before u have a chance to move them :)

thats a cool idea, delivery truck with a set delivery time and a extra charge for night or fast delivery

We throw empty boxes in the bin, would be good if you could just right-click the bin and take out an empty box again. All it needs is a bit of tape. Heck, you know, for every empty box you take out of the trash, it subtracts 0.50$ from your balance to compensate.

I keep around 10 empty boxes between door to store room and wall behind it, that way they can't be knocked over and out the way.

I believe I have 1 empty box laying around. Only time I need it is when I move stuff from "shelf to shelf" or workbench to shelf.
If i need more, I would just save more. And if i were to use a mod that "deleted automatically" empty boxes, I would probably disable it the next time Im in need of some and save the amount I need.

Sorry but Mods are fine, after a while they are what keeps most of us playing this game long enough to help developer create a even better game.

The fact that you have to have a box to carry anything more than one at a time is crazy, the fact that to keep boxes you have to litter the city streets with them and wander around grabbing boxes is crazy, the fact that you have 10's of thousands of duplicates and the only way you can make money off them is you have to box them up in bundles of 100 and them in another box so you can haul them out and put them on the shelf yourself, or store piles of boxes somewhere and then grind out a few hundred bundles of duplicate cards, walking out into the street to grab a box bringing back into your shop, filling it with the bundles, storing it on your self, and then back out into the street for the next box. So your employees your paying to stock the shelves will have something to stock. That's short shortsightedness on the part of the developer probably because he created the game and tested it to some degree and now has thousands of people who are not all playing the same way, testing it and coming in here to report their findings.

Might want to re read my post, I was agreeing with you and explaining why, and also agreeing with the need which is the reason for this thread. I did clear up the first sentence, because it read poorly... a comma would have been better or remove the word no worked too, but the rest of it was agreeing with your being dinged for using mods, and the rest was explaining some of the reasons we need a way to get empty boxes.

Any assumption that I am unhappy with this game, is a a bad read all the way around, I have well over 250 hours in this game, I have set up more styles of shops, than I can count. I think this is an amazing game and want to see the developer finish it, and tie it all together. The only reason I am on the forums is to see what Ideas I can gather or add, to play more.
