I'd be pretty annoyed if i put 3 weeks of work into creating something only to have everyone shout to remove it. He at least put in a measure for them to get disinterested if you ignore it.

Ignoring them is fine apart from for an hour each trader stops new customers spawning in.
If you want to give an in-universe reason to it, perhaps consumers aren't as privy to the detailed Market Price information that we have... and instead only know the rough average it should be at.
I wish there was an option to opt out of customers selling cards I already have.
So yeah, I don't have other employees currently, and the store is pretty busy, a toggle would be great.
I was mostly marveling at the fact that anyone would ask to trade with a shop owner and bring in a single exceptionally low-value card. In my real-world experience people tend to either bring in a small number of very high-value cards or a huge binder of mixed-value cards (mostly not that valuable with the occasional fire) for trade.
