Trading is on a good path!
I totally love the trading part. Ok given that my store is fully running automatically with restocking and cashiers I can completely focus on the trading customers.

First of all: for me it works fine, I get customers that want to trade everyday.

In my opinion it is totally realistic for customers to ask double the market value, as long as you can haggle with them to a decently lower price. As my collection is already quit far (classic 1229/1452, destiny 1304/1452 and ghost 62/80) people mostly offer cards to me that I already have. So I have some opportunity to try out the haggling aspect as I don’t really care if it’s successful. And in my testing, people feel a little RNG if they accept offers. There are some that accept -20% of market price (works maybe half the time), some turn directly around if offered 20% above market price, and everything in between. And sure, even in RL there are people coming to shop owners asking for unrealistically high prices, and it’s up to you to accept them or negotiate. Nobody forces you to give them what they ask for. Haggling never worked that way xD

For the money making aspect I think the feature of trading is also ok. It’s not game changing, but can totally be helpful. If someone offers you some rare cards for 8k with a market value of 5k I just offer them 4K, if they accept I can sell it for e.g. 6k (+20%), and if they reject the offer then: so be it.

What I am missing is a little notification if someone is at the counter and wants to trade. A little „Hey Boss!“ or „Hello?“ or a bell sound like in the hotel lobby would be helpful, so that I know I have to leave the pack opening spree or restocking session.

Update:
After 5 days of customers rushing to the counter for trading, I now had 3 days of NO ONE showing up. Not a single person who wanted to trade...

Update 2:
After reloading, the trades role in again ...

What I would also love to see is some kind of trust or affection development with the different customers. When you offer them items or cards they are lookng for, or especially trade with them cards that you have like hundreds of times in your binder and you really don't care about. That even this is used to grow trust and increases the chance to get offered some rarer cards.

I also feel like the successfull trades should be honored with a generous EXP Bonus, so people value it more :)
