Just tried it, the left side doesn't tell me how many i have, but it says when it's a new card for me and this is all i need to know to complete the collection
might not need the trading cards aspect to complete the collection, as approx 100+ new cards were added, most of which are common. I was 40cards short, and found them all within half an hour of the new update.
as for the trading, i decline everything except new cards, and will pay whatever they ask for.. i got the money.. nothing else to spend it on
Customers asking to trade a card for one u don't have or even ask for it just to buy. Is exactly how it would work if u went to a local game shop looking for a specific card.
That being apart of the trading system makes sence. It's not really an issue with the system.
As for the price that I would agree with
Another walks in, offers me an EX foil for a little over $1,100
I check the current market price, $600.
The new trade feature is cool, but wow, it needs work.
What about haggling? Sure people ask high prices, but nobody forces you to give it to them xD I offer them 20% below market price and most of the time it works, sometimes they change their offer. Sometimes they walk off. Totally realistic in my opinion.
If you need the card for collecting you might be willing to pay more.
If you want to make money, you need to work for it ;) and not every offer is worth taking.
Casually snipping the part where I say I'm sitting on $300k, great job.
I'm sitting on 1,1mio and still want the trades to be money positive :P just as a matter of principle xD
Like the customers ask for double or triple. I look up market and ignore their bid and go like 20 below market (if I need the card) and they are like "ok good deal".
The numbers feel arbitrary, but they will literally buy for less than what it sells for. I even had a few people give it to me for free (yes, I literally offered them 0 for their card and they just gave me their card).
Still looks like a work in progress. I would suggest for the future to have a designated table for trading. So you can open/close the table as you see fit if you want to trade or not.
