The game is still in early access, which means just that, it's playing at your own risk. Adding DLC would be counter intuitive.
There's ways to help the developer that don't involve them going predatory. There's enough predatory, half-finished mobile-to-PC ports with a dozen "swimsuit DLCs" thrown in.
It won't happen.
If the game is good enough, it'll sell and make plenty of money. Some add DLCs for free, to create new sales for the main game.
It's really simple: Just make good games, and all the rest doesn't matter. (Especially single player games.)
I haven't put much time into this game but the core loop is there, and it's not bad, but it needs a ton of work. (As early access games often do, no shade intended.)
It will grow stale pretty quick.
FYI so far, I do like the game. Hope it does well.
