You are obviously allowed to ask and wish for whatever you like, but you are literally asking for a solution to an "issue" which there already is a game feature that fixes it.
And I also wrote "You are obviously allowed to ask and wish for whatever you like" - My point is that you are literally asking for a solution to a problem where there already is a solution for. You not choosing this solution, is all on you.
Also read that having storage shelves lowers revenue as well.
They probably won't stack because they won't physlock to each-other because game objects are meant to attach to the shelves, not to each-other. In most games objects will clip thru walls and floors and with each-other and cause problems. Whenever you load into a game all the loose objects just spawn in together so it's always going to be messy lol.
Like people say, you're welcome to try but there's really no need when you have shelves and likely they'll add more store expansion in the future anyway.
Nevertheless I'd like to see what your setup looks like and maybe others would like to try it as well. This other person may be using a mod you mention
