What happens if you do not pay your bills?
I've been really tempted to not pay my staff and the rent today to see what happens, but out of fear that it'll mess my save up or be the end of the glorious 'bumhole shop' I shall resist.

Has anyone else been braver than I and gave it a go?

After 7 days, it takes it out automatically.

If you go into negative funds because of that, it can make it hard to recover.

It's possible to soft lock yourself early game.

Paying them is pretty damn important don't try to scam the game by never paying bills.
